Forum Title: Remodeling Condos
Hi Guys, I have been on here for a while checking things out, and this is my first real post. We are a smaller remodeling company. Mostly additions and renovations in single residential homes. I recently got a call to renovate a Condo apartment. The homeowners would like to add a new kitchen, two new bathrooms, new flooring, painting and many other minor repairs. I have never worked in one and I am looking for some tips or things to look out for. This is a totally different type of remodel than our company is used too. The apartment in question is up on the fifth floor. I can already see some issues with that as far as removing demo debris and getting material (framing lumber, drywall, countertops, cabinets etc.) I also realize that rather than one client to keep happy, I have potentially hundreds (neighbors and other tenants) I am trying to take every possible measure to make sure that I have all my bases covered. Any tips or things that I may have missed would be great. Thanks Guys! Tim
