Forum Title: Need Pricing Help
Hello everyone. I have been in the re.modeling business for a year now. When it comes to my work i am really big on quality, detail, professionalism and just doing things right to code. I treat every job as if it were my home. As far as my bidding goes well that's another story. I have been doubling material costs for the labor plus 10% overage as suggested by some but I'm not sure if that's the best way to about it. Is it? Should i stick with it? It seems like I'm always missing the little things like prep work, difference betweenpainting a ceiling vs walls or drywall on ceilings vs a wall. I just need some advice on how to correctly price some of the things I seem to do most of like drywall, trim work, paint, flooring, cabinetry, doors and windows. I'd like to be competitive and affordable and not screw myself or my custoner . Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank u in advance
